Waiting on new intake manifold bolts since I can't find any grade 8 fully threaded bolts long enough in the area..Then I'll be done with my plenum and going to try my SCT. Is RTV Ultra Black ok to put on the intake manifold gaskets?

That RTV will be fine, so long as it is high-temp.

^^^ Grade 8 bolts = overkill for intake bolts no need for that grade. What kind of shape are the old ones in?

Decent, I only snapped one bolt off. The reason I said grade 8 is because they are grade 8 bolts. Guy at Napa said grade 5 bolts would be too weak to put in.

Grade 5's are fine for something that requires only 12 ft-lbs of torque.

I don't want to start another intake bolt debate so just wait for your new bolts.

Edit;

I'm good on the debate too, I'm just gunna wait for the new bolts and be done with it. Tired of not driving my truck.
