i dont think the head was the actual problem, but the plenum and intake gaskets. I just wasnt going to go that far into it without pulling the head to check it and i sure as hell wasnt going to reinstall that head with 210k plus miles on it so i swapped it for a new one.
I had the windows illegally tented (the next shade darker) and ordered tires. I had tires on order with Discount tire, they never called me back. I called them and they wanted to charge me more for an upgraded tire but, it was not an upgrade for a dually. They wanted to give me 4 ply tires in lieu of 10 ply. I would have lost a few thousand pounds of towing capacity. I went to another shop and ordered tires.
I think it 15%? Not sure. There was legal tint and I went the next shade darker. I was going to go Limo tint in the back with that shade on the rear sides and then the legal tint in the front sides but, I went with all the same. I like it but, time will tell.
finally got some tunes going yesterday new wiper blades and tore a 4.7 out of a 03 ram 1500 putting a new crank and bearings in it already did both heads and both cams
went to breakfast in the truck, talked to a guy there that had a really nice 1st gen Durango, put some gas in it, and now getting ready to take it to the range to go shooting with the old man.
