i am going with as much steel fuel line as possible and as little rubber hose as possible. it makes things a bit more difficult but is cheaper than buying a whole bunch of new rubber.

Finished up installing an LSD, two more new axles, U-joints, Cad shift fork, and all bearings and seals in my D 44 last night. Understand why shops charge more for the Dana than the 9.25, although I'm pretty sure they don't have to work on a piece of cardboard on a packed gravel driveway in the sun in +90* temps.
Feels good to be done with it.

Yukon Dura-Grip, same thing I put in the rear end about 1 1/2 yrs. ago. I'm happy with the way it works, so repeated myself.

But in the front? I've always thought if you were going to put something in the front, it needed to be a selectable locker?

If you're referring to being able to switch between LS and Posi, it would really only matter for the back anyways... You're never going to want Posi for mud/hills/sand... only drags... Unless you're dragging on dirt roads or in the rain

Running a locker in the front on the street takes a little getting used too from what I understand. It'll be a cold day in hell before I'm using 4WD on the street around here. The front LSD gives me 4WD and not 3WD when I"m using it. In 2WD it's all the same.

Driven it since you've installed it yet?

Sounds interesting...

A little, but not enough for a true test. That's coming this afternoon on the beach.
