Still working on it today, As posted previously I had a set of plugs from the pass side bank with the tips burnt off, also has a discoloured exhaust pipe on the same side. Installed new plugs the other day and better but still not the same, so today I was getting ready to set the valve lash and clean the Iac and TB what do I find but a vac plug was missing from one of the ports on the intake by the pcv hose. WTF how did that rubber cap come off.. I have no idea and for how long I have no idea. So installed a new vac cap took it for a rip and better still. I am going back out to set the valve lash and change the cap and rotor. For tomorrows work I think a comp test and more important is a leak down test is in the plans.

Todays work was fix the vac leak.
Set valve lash.
Install cap and rotor.

How are you bending it?
Didnt get the ipod back today. However I did find my usd today. Here is a pic of how they bent it and welded a triangle in place.

And here is how it temporary latches until the next paycheck.

I have my new working designed latched just have to wait for the next paycheck now. Until then those pillars and bungie cords are holding it together. I overall think it was totally worth it. Next time I decide to build a tiregate I will ensure I use stronger more hollow pipe and maybe make a few adjustments to things. But not bad for under $100! Especially since the real thing cost $1,000 kits cost $800 and a shop quoted me $400.

~And what I did to my ram today? I drove it obviously....

The headers on eBay are not all the same.... I did a side by side comparison of the ones I bought against my old pacesetters in a thread here.... they are holding up great.
You can find the thread if you search " vs pacesetters"

If you compare the cutout patterns of the flange and the area where the pipes bolt up you will see there are at least two unique stainless types being sold for less than $200... the seller I got mine through (EWorld) doesn't she to carry the anymore I've heard.
