Replaced the factory shocks with Monroe Gas Magnums this past weekend, had the fuel injectors cleaned and replaced the plugs with Autolites. The plugs were shot - barely any electrode left on 6 of the 8 plugs. Truck rides much better with the Gas Magnums and can't go wrong with Lifetime warranty
^^^ I have not been on the NTK 02 bandwagon for about a year now, this is to get rid of the NTK that I used when the last of the exhaust work was done this spring. Truck runs just fine or better with the Bosch 02's. All the NTK 02 I have removed all rattle, broken ceramics I would guess.
There is $75 CDN in oil there and $15 for the filter. As for the oil I am very impressed with it, I have ran a few top of the so called lines of synth oil most I would see a lower oil psi after the motor warmed up this one has very little change at any given temp. The motor is spotless inside, I am getting better mpg with it, no lifter rattle on startup.
Ok now the bad news for you guys, up here it's classed as a full syn but for some reason down there they change the oil mix and it's classed as a semi syn oil. I won't waste a dime on a semi syn oil not worth it at all.
Their MoS2 additive is fantastic, I just wish they sold the oil in stores (Amazon maybe though?)
Napa thats were I get it from up here, might have to ask them to bring it in for you. I am sure there are US dealers down there, thats where I learned of the difference. I can always get you this stuff and ship it to you.
Sorry Mods but a off topic Q
You seem to understand oils, just what makes this so good? Don't get me wrong I read all I could about it but some was just over my head.
