Finally took the time to bore out some throttle bodies. Now to wait for it to warm up a little so i can install it. Maybe I'll get the tranny fixed one day too.
Felt adventurous and decided to do some offroading. Found some big mud pits(frozen, didn't bother) but had some fun in the mud puddles lol. Nearly flipped and had my gas gauge stuck reading 1/4 tank when it was full, but now it's back to reading correctly. Glad I was able to find a little bit of mud today First ride out of the year
Tore it apart for a plenum/timing/water pump fix. Found the PO used BATHROOM GRADE SILICONE instead of a gasket to seal the water pump. no wonder why it was leaking like a stuck pig.
Some people's children...
Gonna get it all back together tomorrow, with proper gaskets and sealants.
I would also like to see before/after shots of light output. Preferrably in the same location.
Alllllllllright! They finally showed up in the mail today! I was outside talking with a buddy when the mailman passed. I asked if he had a package for me and YES! there it was! Right away I began the install. I had this elaborate plan of creating a youtube video to show the installation and comparisons and ALL that good stuff since I hadn't found one myself...
Guess what, I didn't remember anything aside from how to install HIDs!!
It took me about 2 weeks of a looooot of research before finally deciding to go with this pair. They don't flicker and they load up evenly! The light output is just out of this world...remarkable!!!
Look for yourself!
The picture that shows a well-lit street is a street where my halogens NEVER shined on the road; millions of times I have double checked to see that my lights were on...it was SAD. But nooooow.... >
