3M double sided tape is pretty strong stuff...

believe me I know what I'm talking about lol when my factory trim had a broken clip that thing would drive me nuts with my pillar gauges hanging down.

once the gauges are in there and you start driving around it starts sagging more and more, and looks like crap with the gap at the top away from the pillar...

I finally got tired of mine sagging and took it back down and used plastic welder (high grade epoxy) to reattach the broken off factory clips to the pillar and let it set up overnight. clipped it back up and it has been nice and snug since...

the only problem with 3M tape is if you ever want to take it back apart...good luck with that...you may get lucky and the tape rips in the middle and doesn't break the part trying to pull it off lol. that tape is some strong stuff!

All of this. 3M tape has been holding mine up with no issues.

To get the pod to fully cover the stock trim, it has to be sprained wider that is should be, exposing its edge beyond the windshield blackout line.

Without the stock trim, it sits well... so I may cut a block of the stock trim around the top clip boss and glue that in the back of the pod (if the top is the loose point)... I can add the middle one later if needed, but I don't think it'll be needed.

filled up my S10 for $25

drove the ram last night...I let it sit for a few days and drove the S10.

I try to drive one a few days, then the other a few days so one doesn't sit for too long.

they both get the same fuel economy, but the S10 is cheaper to drive as regular gas is about $0.80 cheaper per gallon than diesel

I really need to put the damn 5-spd in the S10... this 4-spd is killing me!

Replaced all 4 ball joints today on my ram. Just pressed the new ones in and called it a day. Had a really fun time getting the lower ones out. I thought my back was going to snap out before the ball joint did.
