Had the worst luck with my oil change today...

Got my little socket set, oil, drain pan, ramps, and 5qt jug of Dino oil all set up in the street as usual.

Then I overshoot the ramps!

Drop the truck directly on top of the jug of oil. It ruptures, shooting oil everywhere underneath the truck and all over my tools.
Fortunately the truck was okay, but it made quite the mess.

As always, document stupidity:

^That sucks. Why are you doing an oil change in the street anyways? Seems kind of dangerous.

Truck's too big to fit in the garage, and the driveway is too sloped.

Usually it's just a quick 10 minute job and a residential street, so no biggie.

I was about to be like "Why do you need to put it on a ramp? Just crawl under there!" then I saw that he's 2wd. I can sit straight up and change my oil.

I never use ramps, I have them, just dont use em. Truck is plenty high enough. My moms jeep liberty is lower than 2nd gen 2wds and I dont need ramps for that either.

Heard some tapping coming from a tire, figured it was a rock in the cleats, nope, found a damn screw lodged in the tire.
