Filled up, was just above 1/4, took 95.6L for my 521KM, roughly 12.7MPG. Mostly in town and some highway.

Filled her up today. My jaw almost hit the floor when I calculated my mpgs. 315 miles on the trip odometer (after correcting for tire size) took 17.4 gallons to fill back up for a whopping 18.1 MPG! New record ! Most of it was highway with about 50-60 miles in the city.

No, no problem with the tire correction, but I think the auto shut off on the pump was messed up because driving to work this morning it was obviously not totally full. I knew it was too good to be true. Even so the last few tanks have been high 16s low 17s which is darn good for a 2nd gen.

There's gotta be a two wheel drive factor.............lol K. (jigs & his S10), just havin fun

Everything goes to the trip meter and gallons (wouldn't trust a computer). Here, I'll clear this up..........the only trip meter I trust on these trucks,
was the one I had on my old 97 2500 (mechanical trip meter) and factor in tire size. The read outs on the diesels???? As for 4wd vs 2wd, that's another one I don't see enough info on.

what's wrong with my S10? other than it guzzles a ridiculous amount of gas for a 4 cylinder vehicle it's size... damn 4-spd! (no overdrive) I really need to get around to swapping that 5-spd in there.
