What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?
Finally found some parts that didn't cost me an arm, leg and my first born son.

The guy had 3 trucks to choose from. I chose the one with aftermarket headlights, but, forgot to grab the bulb retainers He lives about 3 hours away, so I'll check around a few places to see if there's a possibility they may be able to get them up here. As of right now, I have some 16G steel wire wrapped around the rear of the headlights and into the grooves on the housing. Looks a little cockeye the way it is now, but whatever lol, I have both lights again

I'm lucky... there was no rust to speak of on mine... but it only spent the first three years of it's life in MI & PA, before heading south to FL... no salt, but lots of humidity down here.
Hose the floor to control dust... upwind door only crack 6" or less, with a fan on low speed a few feet inside... downwind door fully open with the truck just inside.
This way there is little to no "wind" effect... most airborne dust hits the wet floor and is airborne no more... you end up with a light positive flow out of the shop, keeping the paint clean and a minimal over spray cloud to work in.
Used Bulldog primer, Valspar basecoat/clearcoat, and a good buffing after it cured... the bed and steps are done with Raptor.
Just an small industrial bay.

A couple of sayings come to mind;
"A good paint job is 90% in the prep"
"A good coat of paint will hide a myriad of sins"
Somewhere between those two you'll find a truck that looks pretty good if you don't get too close.
