FYI if you ever replace a hub assy, make sure you tighten the axle nut up as much as you can. i think thats why the ones that were on the truck went bad. one was so tight that i broke a 1/2" drive ratchet on, then finally got a 3/4" drive 4 foot breaker bar, 1-3/4" 3/4" drive socket, and all my weight(185lbs) and my stepdad pulling on the breaker bar to finally break it loose, and the other loose enough to take it off by hand.

Considering today is Wednesday (Its 0048 over here) I confirmed she'll do 110, little hard after 105 but she'll do it. Also since today is pay day I'm going rip out my old speakers and pop in some new Polk Audio DBs. My old Infinity speakers were good. But I believe the previous owner forgot to hook the amps on the speakers to the remote turn on lead in the aftermarket unit which resulted in my 6x9s not working... but they'll be replaced anyway.

I'll be sure to take pics.

if you would have used a quality penetrating fluid before you attempted to remove that nut then you would have been able to break it free with one hand, like i did on both of mine.

My local shops don't carry any of these 3. I picked up some Deep Creep (essentially SeaFoam in an aerosol can) and soaked it in that. No luck.

Finally just took a torch to it for a couple of minutes and it practically fell out of the bung. I should have just done that the first time.

Anyhow... changed out the front O2 sensor (for a 1999 1500 ext cab, 4wd you need the longer one, 18 inches, for the front, the one listed is only 12 inches and is way too short). With changing the sensor, TPS, plug wires, plugs, dist cap and rotor... AND using the wire routing TSB, the truck finally is running smooth as silk.

Not only that, I completely eliminated the dreaded 45 mph stumble and all my power is back. I initially thought this truck was pretty anemic for a big 5.9L V8. However, with it finally running right, NOW I can feel all the juice this engine can deliver. (I didn't know I could fish tail it on dry pavement!!!! - not on purpose)

Next on the list now is the rest of the fluids, diff, transfer case, tranny, brake, coolant and changing out the 2 rear wheel cylinders.

That'll keep me busy for a while.

Guy at the machine shop let me use his glass bead cabinet for a little while today. So I cleaned up my headers, ps pump pulley, throttle cable bracket, and a couple tranny line brackets. That thing is awesome so much better then my little TSC Benchtop cabinet.

Then I came home and and started painting stuff up. Gonna wait till tomorrow morning to start the headers. I got the Eastwood header paint and the can says to do it totally different then the guy at the retail store. I'm gonna kinda do it his way but in the time from on the can.

ha ha I got knock'er loose just cause I thought "knock her loose" one time. I thought just cause of the name I have to buy this

Today I dropped the Ram off at Appling Automotive for an install of Polk Audio DB 6x9s and 1 Inch Tweeters. For $h1ts and giggles we popped the passenger side door and wired the two in... so much better then the stock Infinitys. I should have it back tonight.

Almost had a tree branch hit my truck. It was so big I had to get the chain saw out to remove it.
