Incredible! I'm on my third pump though the last was just because I was ***** deep in the timing chain. Never had death wobble either.

I replaced both O2 sensors. NTK. I had a pair of Bosch sensors on it but the check engine light would not go out. Installed the NTKs, replaced the fuses, and hooked the battery up and the light did not came back on. Yay.

Yeah, these trucks are REALLY picky about their sensors....... They want OEM equipment, else they whine about it.

Welcome to DF!

I'm getting ready to replace the upstream o2 sensor again! I'm not sure what's in there now but after only about a year or so it threw a code for the sensor and gas cap. After replacing the gas cap and installing the current sensor I got another code for just the sensor after only a couple hundred miles or so. I'm putting a Denso in this time and hoping for the best.

Dang it! I just realized they gave me a Bosch after giving me the wrong Denso the first time!

Default Installed New Headlights

Started on driver's side Monday. PITA! doing it the way my dad recently removed & re-installed existing one. He lowered the bumper instead of removing the upper trim from the bumper; said he might pop off those retainers. Understandable since it happened a few yrs. ago on the lower piece. Plus he's O.G. , to borrow one of the kids' terms (Original Gearhead in this case HA!) so he's gotta use sockets & wrenches. Tsk tsk.

BTW:. I've discovered that E6000 (glue in a tube) is the absolute best glue for plastics. It can be found in the WM craft aisle & probably any hardware store. I used spring clamps to temporarily hold the freshly glued clips/retainers on the lower trim. Once glue is applied and parts put together, let it set til tacky (or not). Cover it with masking tape and THEN put the clamp on the tape. Certainly don't want to glue the clamp, too. Removed clamps after 24 hrs., not that it's the required time, just how long it took me to get to it again. Back on track, JD!

I finished installing the new headlights Tuesday. Pics forthcoming. Now it's Wednesday & I'm gonna bolt the bumper back in place (it's just loosened, not off the body), then top off the brake fluid, call it quits and work on my Del Sol. Putting an accessory outlet in the trunk, tied into the wee little factory light back there. I got some motion sensitive LED light strips to run around the upper outline of the cargo area, not in plain view but it'll provide much needed light back there. White & black-light, just cuz I'm groovy that way

I even got a set to go under the dash of my 1500 to light up the footwell better than it is now.

SEEya!
