I just ordered wires and am really glad you said that. It made me go back and double check and it’s the wires that are 13 years and 90k old and the distributor that is only 5 and 35kish. Had it backwards in my head after I mentally latched onto distributor, will do all when I get to it.

Today I put openings in my hood for some louver vents (AKA 5.9 ZJ).

They're at a bit more of an angle than I would have liked, but that was governed by the slots in the hood frame.
I cut a plastic template for the mount holes and the cutout... flipped it for left/right side.
Drilled the first two holes from the underside through the slots, then line the template up on those holes an do the rest from the top.
When done and deburred, I shot the edges with some primer to keep rust at bay until the cabs repainted.

Yesterday I worked on getting the old sound mat off the floorboard using the dry ice and alcohol then chip it off trick. Didn't have much luck with that method. That shi!t is on good. I got the idea to use my fine tool (that's what we call it at work)http://makita.thetoolstoredirect.co....ter-body-only/

Put a wood cutting blade on it and took it right up. Gotta get more 60 grit for my sander tomorrow to get the rest of it up and get rid of the surface rust under it. Luckily its only the two front seat sections that need done. Then we're gonna treat and lay sound mat all around.

I have more red for you...

I got the bed back on this evening... I’ll start on the rest of the bits over the weekend.
