Unhappy

Took the drivers side valve cover off to find out why my lifters are chattering like a bunch of squirrels in my engine and found the valve cover on the drivers side closest to the firewall had rusted through. Sooooooo..... off to the salvage yard to find a new valve cover and new valve cover bolts cause mine are rusted. Sad sad day. any clues to what would cause my lifters to chatter at around 2k rpm?

determined that im getting 11.04 miles to the gallon. how the **** can i get that number higher?

also is there a way to put a resistor in the downstream(post cat) o2 sensor to fool the pcm into thinking the cats functioning properly? (ie as if it was taken out, or gutted, or just a faulty o2?) i dont have much money thanks to my **** fuel pump going last week. just kinda curious if theres a way.

spark plug non fouler. screw it into the pipe then screw the o2 into the non fouler. it gets the tip out of the direct exhaust stream and keeps the cel off. and it only costs a couple dollars so you can't go wrong with it. you may have to use two, i'm not posative but if you do then the second one will thread right into the first.

I think i am having the same problem. I have an audible 'ticking' sound on start and idle. Not low on oil. Let me know how it turns out.
PS i just replaced my air filter today. Saving for Mopar cold air.
