well either way im just gonna settle for the painted ones, and when thepaint burns off it burns off, my engine is hardly ever show quality, and id rather look at headers opposed to the stock manifolds which are rusty as well. so oh well.

The point was not that ceramic headers look good, its that they wont rust. Headers are not as thick as cast manifolds, so they will rust through faster.

Launch is scheduled for Thursday morning.

Wensday, i'll be in Ft. Wayne IN for a farm show, so the truck's gonna stay inside the shop to let the bedliner cure.

I'm gonna drive it pretty hard thurday to make sure nothings wrong with it, b/c sunday morning I'm leaving for Kewanee for my second semester

I replaced my front shocks yesterday. Nothing special, just your standard Monroe gas shocks. Had to cut them in half and then through 4 bolts to get them out. I think they could have been original...scary to think about, seeing as it has 171k on it.

it was fun, no party but it was fun. dad and i looked at a Fast Sprayers 28% applicator toolbar 16 row unit (our old anhydrous bar is only 12 row and we upped to a 16 row planter) and also upgraded seed meters for the planter (we had a problem with doubles and skips this year, which can impact yields)

anyway, what i did to my ram, nothing today, but yesterday i finished up the body work, i have a few pics from the bodywork and plenum fix saga
(if you have a 56K modem....RUN)

yea, actually that little bit was above the herculiner, i pulled it down an repainted it (was able to get color matched paint in a rattle bomb)

all in all, i'm very happy with how the truck came out, seeing as this is my first swing at body work (other than chopping the fenders on my Jeep)
