Let's just say I have a torrential amount of friends

That one you linked seems a little sketchy, everything I read said to stay away from the cheap ones, as they are most likely clones and not very reliable. Mine was like $100 CAN shipped, it would be cheaper if you're in the US.

Give this a read, it might help you decide. One good thing about the obdpros tool is it's easily upgradeable via internet. Most of them have to be sent back to have the chip replaced.

it used to be like that, but now you have to have your permit for 6 months at 18 to get your license.

See i never ****in understood that rule anyways, i personally "speaking as the other person on the road" would rather have some one have their restrictor's 6 months or longer at any point because there is alot of experience you need to gain before driving on a highway or open road. I know it suck's and imma get flamed out the *** for that but i started driving when i was 10, farm work gas station run's etc. My dad even built me a booster seat for his dodge when i was running hey across the field's and going to fill up the tanks for the tractors.

But that was back then, this is now and the kid's now adays are dumber than dirt when it comes to responsibility. No offence intended nate

I didn't realize that this was a thread to discuss B-days or driver's licenses, so hopefully, this will put us back on topic:

I'm all loaded up and ready to hit the trails! Took the GPS along with me to work today to verify my speedo. I'm running 33in tires, and that made the speedo about 10% off. Cruisin' 55mph down the hwy, and I'm turning a lazy 1400rpm. We'll see what kind of mpg I'm pulling when I gas up in another couple days. For the record, thats a KX250 and XR350R loaded up for a day in the desert.
