Well, got tired of the thumping and clunking from the front driveline, so, went a lookin'. Found the front u-joint was toast..... and barely keeping the driveshaft in place. Got a new, lifetime warranty unit, (with NO zerk fitting?? WTF?) installed it, and things are MUCH quieter now. 4wd works great.

well here i am just staring at my ram on my front lawn just sitting there waiting to be driven... july 12th is my frist day at my other job, and my new boss is gonna help me pull the trans, and send it out to get rebuilt, and hes gonna take it from my paycheck everyweek. shes gonna get all new parts internally, and a new tc, and new rear main, as well as new rear freeze plugs... after that, rear brakes are gonna get upgraded to 1 ton wheel cyls. and new shoes, then new pads and rotors up front, then gonna do the hughes kit along with the kegger mod. then new wheel hubs in front, new axle seals, and new u joints(all gonna be done with front brakes). then shorty headers, or maybe long tubes with true duals, since now i can get my exhaust done where im gonna start working.

Isn't that what happens when the power steering pump takes a dump? That old Subaru I used to have had manual steering, it turned really easy when you were moving but took both hands if you were stopped.
You might want to start a thread and see if someone has had their pump go out before.
