What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?
i have also realized about my post after looking it over. appoligies. after listening to enough videos of the 40's and 44's i've decided to go with the super 44. getting it next week and getting rid of that stupid glasspack. to me it sounds quiet. after the flowmaster comes a magnaflow high flow cat. doin it one peice at a time and it cost me alotta dimes, man this thing is gunna sound good when i come around LOL. no offence johnny cash R.I.P & #3 R.I.P the E wouldent fit, cursid demensions
Replaced the stock airbox with an Edelbrock Pro Flow air cleaner & had to replace the Ground Force shocks in the rear as they were wore out in the bushing area causing an awful rattle back there. New shocks = no rattle !
Finished installing my new headliner.Pain in the *** getting off all the foam on the fiberglass shell but it was a neat little project.Turned out pretty good considering I have never done one before.
Well it wasn't today but in the last few weeks, bumper, winch, grill, wheels (blue beadlock rings coming soon) & painted the shell to match. Was just out playing in the desert today & got a pic.
Yesterday.....tore off the intake, valve covers... cleaned, painted the intake, rebuilt it using the Hughes kit, cleaned the fuel injectors, took out lifters and push rods...( had one lifter not wanting to move at all.. now i know where my "tick" was coming from..) cleaned up the valley..
Today.... rebuilt my intake.. installed new lifters, pushrods, and HS 1.7's RR's...Mopar performance valve covers..installed the intake, and new cap, rotor and wires and plugs..took off the water pump and timing chain and gears...
( Nice ride My1500!!!!)

I replaced my timing chain cover gasket, water pump gasket (due to a leak) changed the oil and new air filter! Took me about7 hours due to the learning curve as I had never done the gaskets in a ram yet! Damn there is a lot of **** that needs to be removed to get to that bastard! But she is up and running and so far I see no leaks!
