The good thing is the ball joints are a pretty easy fix, the problem is once you finish that something else will pop up, its a never ending dilema, especially if you treat it like a truck

how long have them tires been on the truck

Figured the oil pan gasket was all chewed up around the arc for the rear of the pan. This has probably been the main culprit of my constant oil leak. I bought a Fel Pro pan gasket and am much happier with it especially since it is reinforced all along the straight section rather than ringlets at each bolt hole. This made installation much easier.

So, I have the rear main replacement done and the new pan gasket installed.

I finished rebuilding my starter with my nice, shiny new plunger and contacts. I got it installed but had a beyotch of a time with the upper bolt. I don't think I have it cross-threaded, but it was a PITA to install.

Truck fires right up!

Well, it was time to replace those mountains of snow-like battery terminals and ended up spending $100 more than I had planned on spending at the parts store. Who knew "everything" was on sale today? HA. I do love my new mechanix gloves

Went ahead and replaced the screwy coolant temp sensor tonight with a new one. Gotta love lifetime warranties.

hypertechs are year make and model specific. before my superchips i was lookin at one here locally on craigslist, i met up with him, and tried it (2001 ram) on my 2000 and it said couldnt find the vehicle ID or something like that. make sure you have the right year.
