Yesterday I got to take the truck on the beach for the first time ever. It met and exceeded all of my expectations. Only problem we had was getting off the beach and that was thanks to my having mud tires that grab too much. Once we aired down it did fine.

didnt really do anything to the truck except run out of gas in the driveway lol (my guage is stuck on full still)....

BUT i got a nice dodge sticker yesterday that i put on my back window (its a black and chrome dodge emblum / "Dodge" letters...

Also my fiancee bought me a new Dodge hat.....my old one is covered in paint due to my old job, so she bought me an early x-mas gift and gave me the hat....its awesome....its camo colored, with the dodge emblum and says 'RAM' on it.....cant beat it.

Did the oil change and put on my new M/T 17 Lock Rings...got the Black ones and they look really sharp...it is a great contrast to the Chrome and really sets off the wheels...try to get pics of that soon!

Put a belt on my friends dodge with no tools, he hit a dog and it somehow knocked the belt off.

still havent drove my truck, still waiting on it to get out the shop, I did make a ringtone of my truck starting and idleing before I dropped it off so everytime someone calls me I get to hear it

I'm at 175 miles on my gear break in and I saw gear oil on my passenger steering knuckle earlier. Hopefully it's just oil that was in the tube and worked its way to the end in the last couple days. I sprayed it with brake cleaner so I'll know if it is leaking soon.

Decided to be smart finally. I will be no longer going with a lift on the truck like I'd originally planned. Since I ran my transmission out of fluid I'm so afraid I screwed it up. I'm going to be building my transmission up, putting some 33" dune grapplers or stts on it and eventually putting a 2" leveling kit on along with an add a leaf in the rear eventually and call it good........ being responsible sucks...

My fiancee is giving up getting a turbo for my transmission build up... gotta appreciate that.

Tuesday we are gonna try to restore my headlights with some kit from Walmart... hope it works. Is like to be able to see at night.....

Put a thousand miles on it in two days, and was again happy with how well the old beast takes to the open road. And again happy with how well my expensive headlamp bulbs light up the road.

Well, making a trip out to the storage unit yesterday, got a whiff of coolant..... Damn. While we were offloading stuff into storage, crawled around under the truck... appears to be front timing cover leaking to beat the band. And this just started. Went from perfectly dry, to puddle creator. Gonna pull some stuff off the top of the engine today to verify the problem.... but, looks like I get to delve into the engine yet again.

If I do end up doing the timing cover, gonna replace the water pump, and timing set as well. What the hell.
