What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?
Heyyou: Do you have any idea how the rag got in there? did this mech have the oil-pan off? stuff it in the valve covers? What are you thinking on how this guy did this to your truck?
Yes I hate working in the cold to, But it does make you work faster. I can't get my truck in the shop doors are to small.

^The proper question is: "Why didn't you perform the work yourself?"

I put my coat hanger hook back up that my mom ripped down. Thing that sucks is that I can't use it now, just for appearance.
Also pulled the spare tire, washed it, aired it up. And I pulled the no8 plug again, checking constantly...
Gonna go out to a bonfire tonight at a friends place, so I'm gonna haul some palates (spl?) over there to burn.
Gonna be great.

Just got pre-empted due to broken bolts, and no gas in the torch. So, my truck sat with the intake off for two days in the lot. The guy that owns the property USED to run the shop, it is at his home. He retired back in January, and the new guy is mad at me. He had two days to do whatever he wanted with my truck....Its a long story.
More like what did i try to do.. I bought stainless steel diamond plate rocker accents to try and hide door rust and they dont fit the bottem of the doors. apperently they are designed to fit 3 inches above there at the molding.. Kind of stupid if you ask me.
Any ideas on how to cut/shape stainless steel diamond plate? It's somewhat thin and seems like it will bend easily

Technically was yesterday, but slungshot the 96 off an exit ramp, across and back across 94 E and straight into a ditch. No damage done except I ripped a wire off the bumper but thats been fixed. Had my fiances buddy come rescue me in my trucks big twin brother.
I'm lucky to be alive. Seriously thought I was gonna die for awhile there. Truck is safe. Told myself I'm done getting my trucks stuck for the year. too bad we are already in another one...

Well, after the oil pan exercise, seems the front axle didn't want to engage any more..... So, went out to figger that one out, and found what I expected. Knocked the vacuum line for the t-case off of the little plug at the back of the motor. Plugged that back in, front axle works fine.
Since that was so easy, and it was actually above freezing outside..... (supposed to hit 50 today....... just a bit unusual for January in Michigan.....) figgered I would backflush my heater core again as well. The heater had been working GREAT since the last time I flushed the core, but, after doing the intake, it once again was only getting **** warm. After the flush, (both directions) took the truck for a drive, and once again, the heater will burn you right out of the cab.
I am hoping I don't need to break into my cooling system again for a while...... but, if it DOES become necessary, I am very tempted to put the T fittings on the heater hoses to make flushing easier. (and less messy.)
After trying many methods of burping the air out of the heater core...... I have found that flushing it nicely with the hose, is one SURE way to get the air bubble out.
