i ordered on of those glowshift 3 gauge A-pillars from ebay, and dream shoped for gears and lockers as well
I'd be interested in how you install that over the stock pillar cover. What holes you need to drill or any issues with it. I'm getting ready to order mine too.
On topic. I installed new yellow foglight bulbs, had my flat sparetire replaced, and had the cooling system flushed at the dealer.
Man your truck is young compared to mine, ill probably break 190k by the end of the year. And jimmy ill make sure to let you know how i attach it if you pm me a reminder
New water pump, thermostat, upper, lower, and bypass hoses, cooling system flush, heater core backflush... and finally found my damned leak, too. It was the heater hose next to the water neck. I didn't buy new heater hoses because I'm leaving them be until I do the heater core along with the dash... oh well. Hacked off the leaky end, all's well.
The heater is back to kicking wicked *** now, just in time for winter. The forecast has snow for Tuesday/Wednesday, overnight low of 12 degrees (F) Wednesday. Yay for heat!
Replaced a burned out headlight and bought some pb blaster for my manifold bolts. I need to do the plenum since the magnet sticks. I havent lost power but it uses oil. When I got in there, bolts looked new. Maybe the last guy just did the gasket and not the plate, oh well.
i did a steering gearbox adjustment, and shopped around for places to install a set of gears. luckily my dad know a guy that might do it all for 300 total if i buy the parts
Drove my 99 with 180K 500+ miles home today.. To UnRegistered, I lived and worked in Meeker in 08! It was a very cool place and the folks there were GREAT!
Damn I ran those tires and put them through pretty much everything but rock climbing.....how the F^ck did you manage that
I would guess that it was combination of dry rot and the rock crawling, bouncing off stuff. But mostly dry rot.
These tires are 6 years old just past the day. For that last 4 years I probably put less than 1500 miles a year on it. They've see a lot of southern heat. I don't believe that preservatives helped but I believe they may have sped along the process.
