I was told the nets and tailgates with a vent style system hurt your mileage... I always read that the factory tailgate creates an air "bubble" that flows air across the bed much like a bed cover in a sense. Just what I've read though..
Mythbusters did it awhile back and got the best results with the net....it was $12 so if I dont see a gain im not out much plus I think it will look cool on, just have to convince my dad to let me store my tailgate somewhere
Put a new wiper on last night in the walmart parking lot.
lol
Everyone bought the darn $5 anco's I was going to buy.
So I had to buy Bosche Steel Tech, which are nice. I only installed one since that was all I had time for. Gonna install the passenger side today.
Put (more) oil in it. Removed forward 02 sensor (temporarily). Truck runs better.
And after having to jump it this morning it seems I'll be buying a battery tonight!
How old is the battery and what are the CCAs? I'd suggest you get the battery tested as well as the charging system. You wouldn't want to find out the battery is ganked b/c the charging system has a problem as the new battery would fall victim. Just friendly reminder, kadetklapp, in case.

i always wonder if the lenght of the bed would make a diff,,, like a short box then we put a tool box in it,, is there a engough area
because with out the tool box i remenber leaves and things going around around in the bed like a air pocket,,,, with the tool box have not see it,,,, now things fly out more,, throw pop can do float on top of the tool box
