Built a "hub adapter" for my spare holddown so I can mount my factory chrome rims. Yes, the round part was cut from an old hub bearing.

pulley was an easy install, but the belt...thats a whole nother issue.

i had to bypass my facory a/c compressor last saummer because the bearing went, so i used a 90" belt to bypass it, so i had no clue what size belt i needed.

well it took 2 seperate trips to advance to get the right belt.

the correct belt size is 87.5" 875k6 is the part number. for a truck without the a/c bypassed it will be a 95" belt and the part number is 950k7 so you will need a belt 2.5" shorter.

so far i have noticed a slight improvement on throttle response, and takeoff is better, and my voltage is under 14v at idle, but comes back after you step on the gas.

Default Sliders

Frame plates cut and mostly prepped.

Sliders beveled.

Piece of scrap test fit for cap.

I need paint suggestions, which I think would have to be a dark color. The kids are going to decorate them with any color/design that 5 yr olds can imagine.

Took her down to the river today, drove across the spot we did the last time we were there, it's MUCH deeper this time, it came up to my hood.

We started to suck in water through the intake, I thought we were gonna stall out, but the ole' girl did good

The hub buster. Found it amusing. Does it work like the video, don't know.

Truck wouldn't turn over, tracked it down to ignition coil, replaced it started right up. Maybe I'm imagining it but it runs like a different truck. Is that possible?
