Lessee... how about "what have I done since buying it 8 1/2 weeks ago?...

1st week I did a tranny fluid/filter and diff oil change.
2nd week I changed spark plugs.
4th week replaced all 4 dead speakers.
5th week a new timing chain, the drive belt and all coolant hoses.
6th week a new radiator.
7th week it suddenly starts shifting odd so I disassembled and cleaned the governor solenoid. No change.
Last week I got a new solenoid and sensor. Go to change those and find the front band anchor laying in the pan.
There may not be a next week for this truck.

Lots of things going on there! Did you get the anchor back in and did it fix the problem? I had the same thing when I pulled the pan when I bought my Ram (knowing tranny was gone).

Um, Technically right would be to patch the holes with welded in sheets, then using body filler just to smooth after grinding, but many have and many will do what you are doing

As much as I like working on my own things, I've gotten burned out on this one. I don't have enough time away from work to keep working on it. I sent it to the tranny shop at lunch and he's pretty sure it'll be good when he gets the anchor back in.
Right now I'm on the fence as to keeping or selling it. And I still have to replace the warped front rotors no matter what I decide.

Buffed the yellow film off my headlight lenses with some scratch-x

Cleaned the underside of my hood and the engine compartment.

Buffed the paint on my tailight bezel.
