Going to go get new rims and tires tonight. Now just need to decide to go back to chrome or plasti dip these as well.

 

I replaced both headlights and add some off road lights. I'm gettin ready to replace both front wheel hubs and axle joints.

 

LEave em , they look nice I been thinking Bout getting 4 th gen rims ! Any thing u gotta do to get them to fit ? Pics will be nice

 

Got some full welds done for the core. Threw down some primer to protect from the oncoming rain...reportedly.

As you can see I'm using the stock bumper brackets. Perfect to located the height of the plate. Using the tow hook bolts and the tow hook plates themselves to lend their stiffness to the mounting.

Got more to do, such as extending the mustache, adding a center strut, gussets, mount the winch, fab up the fairlead mounting, plating for looks skidding, and then I guess some paint!!

Putting new hinge pins on the drivers door tomorrow

 

Bolt pattern is the same, just got to make sure the lugs fit. Gonna put them on tonight.

This is just sitting next to it. Tires are 275/60/20 Cooper Zeon LTZ. They will last me through this summer/fall, but next spring will be on the hunt for some new ones

 

Put the mirror mount up again last night, gonna see if the mirror will stick. Then it will likely be washed.
