Towed my parents popup camper from the storage unit, to my house tonight, as I'll be taking it camping tomorrow night. Was happy to hook-up, and plug in, and see all the lights working. Apparently my dad, when he owned the truck, was having the camper place, install the 7 pin trailer harness on the dodge like every year/ 2 years, cause it'd rust out. I bought a better one from autozone 3-4 years ago when I got the truck, and installed myself, and I haven't used it in over 2 1/2 years, and all the prongs were still shiny, and worked perfectly. I can feel the difference though, with the 32 inch treadwrights, compared to the 30 inch stock highway tires, that used to be on it, while towing. Gonna be a bit more costly gas-wise. But, so far, no problems, and looking forward to a nice weekend with the wife and dog, some beers, and a campfire.

Picked her up from the shop this morning. Oil pressure is finally at normal. The gauge is still lying to me, but I thinking there's a problem in the wiring. No big deal. Just relieved to know I've got normal pressure

Thinking about painting all the plastic pieces around the bumper. Looks so bland with the shiny new bumper, headlights, and freshly painted inserts. The inserts made a drastic difference itself, instead off weathered gray.

I'm going from a Red/Black/Chrome scheme, with Chrome being the least prevalent color. I'm thinking black towing mirrors in the near future, too.

Get yourself a mechanical oil pressure gauge, the most reliable way to get a good reading.

Ahh yeea. My truck can start itself hot now with no jump, or even hint of hesitation.

Today I loosened the bolts for the drivers side fender and wrestled with it till it fit better. Still not perfect, (non-original fender, and its tweaked) but at least the door doesn't rub it when I open it now.

Older 3/4 ton. The front rotors are staked to the hub/bearing assembly from THE BACK.... gotta pull the hubs to get the rotors off to either replace them, or have 'em turned....

I would kill for an on-the-car brake lathe......
