What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?
installed a 3rd gen rear bumper on my truck, and finished up the plate wiring today. looks good!
just gotta get some thicker flat stock, and a welder to make the mounts stronger.
had to make s-brackets to keep it from wobbling with the current fabbed mounts. i think theyre a little weak, lol.

For those using balance beads in your tire's don't get moisture in the tire, it mess's the beads up, they turn into a gummy mess.

Kinda hard to avoid getting moisture in the tire when using the various "not so free air" stations around town innit? Even my compressor leaves air in the lines, and the separators don't always get all of it.....
So if you use beads use Nitrogen to fill your tires. Better yet just don't use the beads, What ever band they put in my tires don't like water at all.
Removed the grill and mount from the hood.
Sanded and primed the front of the hood...goal is getting rid of the erosive mess the bug guard/weather seal made from the dirt trapped in it.
Installed rivet nuts to replace the self tapping grill mount fastners with stainless Allen screws.
Sanded the grille mount so I can repaint it. Added rivet nuts to it and grille inserts to replace self tapping screws that vibrate loose.
Third goal is to repolish and paint backside of grille inserts for big Mopar show July 28th.

Washed, waxed and polished 'er up good, since rain wasn't in the forecast anytime soon. But, I'm sure the weatherman will change his mind, since I decided to spend hours cleaning 'er up. And Mother's brand chrome polish = amazing! I love the muddy dirty look, but she sure does polish up nice. Makes the last 2 hours of scrubbing worth it.
