Used Ram to pull 54 Chevy from back lot into garage. It's going to miss being parked inside.....

Drove the Ram to the gas station, started her up with the A/C on and 1/8 a tank of gas, normally she's a little "slow" with the A/C on, not today, lots of power under the gas pedal today

Drove her today to get another bed load of crap from my old house. Just a rough estimate, I made the 144 mile round trip approximating 14.75 MPG. Not bad if its right...

Replaced the interior lights with LEDs (broke the overhead map light doohickie trying to remove it, before realizing the lenses on the map lights pop out). Washed, then waxed the entire truck. Then took pics with my Z...I'm loving this truck...
I painted my rear bumper pads and tailgate panel with Plasti-dip. Nice and black and grippy. Never looked back!

Slick looking rig, I would say to take the air dam off. You know you want to.

my new 96 1500, oil change to amsoil 5-30, new junkyard tires-225/75/16, and put on 451 miles running to my buddy's cabin for crap he forgot. 19 mpg with air off windows up and cruise set at 55/65 depending on speed limit.

See I don't think they ride stiff at all without a load, but that's just personal preference. They also give you about 1.5" of lift too, so now I HAVE to get spacers in the front to make it look normal again.

Helped clean out my friend's dad's foster dad's house yesterday and today, he died (meth addict) on saturday. TONS of ford stuff, power tools, and about 40 chainsaws. I got to keep a few goodies, including jack stands, a couple drills, a few random tools, 2 mini floor jacks, a complete 16" e-fan kit including wiring, a new functioning better stereo deck for my truck, and a ton of CB stuff. When I go through all the CB stuff I think I will dig up that CB thread we had going for a while and breathe some new life into it.

Ted, the guy who passed away saturday, was building my friend's dad, Eric, a 390 for his '66 Galaxy. We found just about every part needed to build it, including genuine Shelby FE-motor valvecovers, Shelby air cleaner, 2 sets of over-sized pistons, aluminum heads, several intakes and carbs and much more. Lots of random 428 parts too. And about 75 Holly carbs. 2 and 4 bbl's. Double pumpers, you name it. They still have a storage unit to go through as well, and there is a ton of gearhead stuff in there too.

It all sounds cool, but all this stuff was stuffed in with random junk and a lot of ugly stuff too. Glad to be able to help them though.
