tarred the driveway today and now my mom is fairly happy. driveway is a lot better looking. definitely going to have to do a bit more filling and tarring but that should be able to wait till next year. the driveway is a lot better than it was. had to use 2 bag of cold fill ash fault and 4 pails of sealer but it was worth it. i am also hoping this will motivate the neighbor to do there driveway. they have a pretty good rut in there driveway.

actually tarring the driveway was not as bad of a job as i thought it would be. could have use a bigger squeegee/brush so that the tar could be spread and brushed quicker but it was not a bad job. trying to tar the underside of my truck was more of a pain than tarring the driveway.

Roll your truck over. Makes it much easier......

How big were your buckets, and how much coverage did you get out of them? (square feet)

Ash Fill? Where did you get that at?

My driveway has been neglected for WAY to long.... and REALLY needs some attention. (I have lived here about 9 months.... so, not my fault.)

Plus it's fun when it's really wet!

Interesting sig for someone who seems to hate a lot of "American" Culture....

I did it mostly for kicks, although there is aLOT of truth to be had in those three sentences.

lol

the buckets were 4.75gallons each. i am not sure how much coverage we got out of them but the driveway had never been sealed before so it did require a bit extra sealer. i do know the drive way is long enough to have 2 trucks and a ramcharger park in it.

usually not to far from the tar they usually have some cold fill ashfault. it is good for filling in low spots or ruts. spread it out nicely then run it over with truck for best results.
this is the tar
