3/8 inch fuel line (or AC) disconnect tool. spray some WD40 up into the fitting and twist the hose back and forth to make sure the spring fingers in the fitting are not rusted to the bell.
wrap the tool around the hard line and slide it directly into the bell. push in on the tool to depress the spring fingers and then pull back on the hose/tool to remove the line.
The hose and coupler physically DO move, but the tool won't go into the fitting. I've watched a couple videos, but no one seems to have the issue I am dealing with. I must be doing SOMETHING wrong. lol
