Towed the van in on a flatbed pulled by our Dodge, and got it into a shop into town to be fixed.
No incidents other than it seemed a little underpowered for 4000lbs, it should tow that with ease.
Get almost home, and boom the damn thing dies. Throttle cable slipped out of the clamp. Borrowed a neighbours socket set and tightened it down again. By the time I got it home I had a stuck throttle at halfway open, got it home and in the drive and shut off. Sheesh.
Now I go out to temporarily fix the Ford's engine so I can tow the trailer back to the guy I borrowed it from.
Everybodys safe, so no harm!
Now I've gotta figure out what to do with my cable, probably gonna have a custom one made to fit into a notch on the bracket so it can never slip again.

Thanks.
They're gonna have center caps when it's all said and done.
Trying to decide on a tire size though....got 265 currently, I kinda like the 265. But I feel that in the front it might bind or rub or something. We're going to be going with AT's from HT's, so I would imagine that might rub more. IDK, we'll see.
GODDAMNIT.
And nope, they're staying chrome. The chrome is too damn good to cover up and I envision this truck looking pretty damn good with the chrome wheels and the satin black paint I'm going to be putting on it.

Damn if it was me them tires would be on and I would be testing them to see where they rub maybe even sport them for a couple days to see how they ride before getting new tires.
