item #2 vacuum cleaner - not sucking up dirt, overheating, smelling hot. ok, this will be easy. lets start by cleaning the solid half inch of dirt off the filter. next, lets see, how about cleaning the solid half inch of hair off the beater bar. next, remove the bottom plate and find the pickup hose. yep, its stopped up solid. remove it and get out the beer bottle caps and unstop the entire foot long hose. reassemble. works fine now.

Tornadoes...ick. Got some incidental but irritating damage from the one the nailed Tulsa yesterday.
Still its a bit better than baseball sized hail. I'd rather be blown away than beat half to death.
