I'm lost also. But I would recommend reading the rest of the bill that the horse issue was slipped into. It was not a stand alone.....and the meat is for export.

That's what we gain by killing horses! A label, guess we can now be considered a country that exports good's again instead of importing everything.

I don't see the big deal about it, really. It's been, what, two years since the shutdown? So we're just going back to how things were not so very long ago and had been since long before any of us (even Charlie) were born?

If you've ever been stuck with a dead horse on your hands you'll understand just how nice it is to be able to sell 'em off when they're fixin' to drop anyway. Meat on the hoof is sellable, dead critters ain't.
