Gonna go get lifters for the Dodge today. SOooooo..... Off comes the plenum again... <sigh>.

Oh well, should fix that noise.... Also just curious, what is should the valve clearance be on the 5.9L?

Get the FSM. Then again, I noticed you had a Haynes in your truck, so it should be in that.

Not in the Haynes. Can't find it in the FSM either. Nothing to denote valve clearance, only valve stem length which does me no good.

Usually on small engines I allow .008 valve clearance, but I don't wanna get the RAM messed up if I give it too much.

In the FSM, there is a procedure for installing the rockers. That's all ya gotta do. There is no adjustment to it.
