best scene was him giving pile crap for not being able to do any of the obstacles in basic training
R. Lee Ermey was definitely the best for the part. he was not even the original choice to play the part...
he was more of a consultant for military accuracy in the movie and when he demonstrated how it should be done, they were like wow you got the part!
he basically improvised 90% of the movie...almost every single thing he did other than what the scenes were supposed to be displaying: were completely improvised by him and unscripted.
no writers came up with his lines...he came up with them on the fly.

haha its not a spoiler telling you that the "actor" who was an actual gunny in the marines basically came up with all of the lines on his own exactly how he would have whipped some recruits meat in to shape in boot camp.

Well I could have my brush guard next Tuesday if the upcoming winter storm doesn't slow it down too much. Shipping from Texas via CrapEx.
We're supposed to get some ice tonight through tomorrow morning. Hope not.

When I made my last trip moving, I had to roll my lawn mower into truck as gas tank had a leak. So I ordered new gas tank on Monday and it arrived today. With temps in 70's here, grass is starting to get pretty tall. Tank arrived today, and 15 minutes later had it installed and filled with gas....only to realize that the key is hangin on a beam....in the shed behind the garage......back in Eastland! Wife asked if I was going back to get it (200 miles each way)! I think the $4.99 for two of them freom Sears is more efficient.....
This relocation reminds me of a monkey and a football!
