Oh well, time for a new blade
I hate that.
I hit a curb once. Took a chunk out of the curb and needed a new blade that summer. Never did mow like that again.

I went out to mow yesterday... Fired up the tractor, dropped the deck, made one pass up the side of the driveway, and watch the drive pulley from the deck go skipping across the yard....... so much for that. Going to be leaving here shortly, and gonna be gone for a few days, so, deal with it when I get back.

Good thing no one was out there. That might have been bad.

And this is why you always check your equipment at the beginning of the year!

Yeah, I really dislike watching metal objects moving at high velocity thru the yard.... Just isn't any fun.

I spent a few days last month getting the tractor up and running. Everything checked out good. Seems there were some bearings that were marginal though.... (obviously....) casual inspection didn't show anything, and everything moved nice. It even MOWED nice..... ah well, I have a 'parts donor' deck I can scavenge what I need from. Got most of it apart, just need to reassemble. Ran out of time yesterday.
