im right around 8.2(when it was running ) 360 mag cold air intake stock exhaust. its getting new heads has a timing chain and the plenum repair so we will see after all this

 

Get 15-17 consistantly, best i've got was 19, 1999 1500 Sport 4x4 360 auto trans, magnaflow cat, no muffler, synthetic fluid front to rear, cold air intake, tonneau cover, 265/75/16. I have been looking for other things to do to improve mileage, but after lookin at similar trucks im pretty happy with what im gettin

im to scarred to look at the pump sice ive put on my 37's

 

was barely getting 11 before the t-chain water pump and plenum fix.... now im getting 11.6 mpg's!! thats with 285/75/16's and a superchips performance tune!

 

id be estatic if i was gettin 11 mpgs right now. damn giant tires and stock gears. i can wait till im able to regear my axles

Saw this thread on the 1st gen dodge section and I was curious about people 2nd gens mpg. And whatever youve done to bump up your performance too.

So I have a 5.2L V8 2wd, Auto trans, 3.92 axle ratio, <-hahaha oops 3.92 not 2.92
- Hypertech Max energy programmer,
- spectre performance intake
- 3 inch body lift 2 inch level.
- 245/75/16 tires (at the moment).

Id say 95% city 5% highway and my mpg is all over the place, one point 267Miles/19Gal = 14mpg then 220Miles/19Gal = 11.5. I should probably get that check engine light fixed. lol, Anyway how about you?

Tune up.
Need to fix the plenum, it is getting expensive running 93 at 8 mpg.
