I just got a new job as a product merchandiser so I'll be traveling to 5 stores in my area, on Monday's and Friday's I have to visit all 5, 253 miles total driving working from the furthest store to the closet.

253 miles every Monday and Friday. We'll see how well my truck does when I get her back

Wow, I can't see big profit margins with that. Feeding that 360 will hurt. I get over 400 miles out of my 20 gallon tank in my Dakota. But I average 22mpg. 500 miles a week in that Ram is likely to take almost 2 tanks a week. I suggest looking for a 4-banger beater. The money you save in gas will pay for it rather quickly. Blown bellypan gasket tends to foul plugs, sensors, and eventually the cat as well. You should see improved mileage, but nothing that substantial.

I get compensated for mileage and, if the gas is too terrible I can always take the wife's Century. But the single store trips won't be too bad.

Or has a hole in his gas tank.

Or some serious vacuum leaks...
