That don't make no sense. I know my mileage sucks with 33s and 3.55 gears, but how was it better with 35's?
The only way that would be true is if most of his driving was on flat land and he rarely goes over say 45mph.... then its possible...but in most conditions the truck wouldnt have enough power to sustain speed without constantly downshifting and forget ever using overdrive... 33's would definatly get BETTER all around mpg with 3.55 gears and any magnum drivetrain than 35" tires...
hell I get 12-13 mpg...with 4.56 gears and 35" tires so someones math doesnt add up.. for one without changing the speed gear in the diff he odometer and speed gauge is going to be off..

i got 15.2 last weekend in a nice leisurely 55 mph drive down to deer camp and back. 75 miles down with a big load of green wood and 75 miles back hauling nothing but 2 left over beers and no ice.

Just got through the first tank after fitting the K&N CAI kit... initially it looks like at least 1-1½ MPG improvement... I'll report back after a few tanks, as this week has been bad traffic, and I've been enjoying the extra pep in her step
