Default should I get these 35's?

Well I am in bad need of tires but don't have a crapload of cash for new ones atm, should I try these tires out? They're 35x12.50's on the old 15" white rally wheels. Keep in mind it's on stock suspension right now, with 3.55's. I don't realllly want to go that big right now, but seems like a decent price, asking 500 for 5 of em, and I know I can get em cheaper....

Should I even bother? I don't wanna beat the ol girl up even more with bigger tires, but almost anything would be better than the out of round worn out sneaks that's on er now....

I have no opinion about Kelly tires, have never owned any or talked about them with anyone who has. But those wagon wheel spokes are garbage! They flex too much and crack too easily. They're okay on the hay wagon that never leaves the farm, but have no business on the highway on full-sized pickup trucks.

35's are too much if you're sporting less than 4.10 gears. If you are, then the cool tires will make for a hot transmission. Bad trade-off.

Will 15 inch wheels even clear the steering components?

Wasn't the looks folks are concerned about, tis the thought that they are prone to cracking, and thus, unsafe........ I would take a good hard look at what kind of weight they are rated for.

That said.... I had a set of wagon wheels on my old full-size blazer, and I wheeled the crap out of that... Never had a problem.

Dude, you can get treadwrights in 33" for the same price. any bigger than 33 and you won't be able to turn the wheel very far at all.
Even 33" will scrub the control arms with your rims.

Actually paint them black and they look just like the black crager d's that seem to be growing in popularity on this forum and that I removed from my ram after I bought it. I had those kellytires in 31" size on my jeep before I went bigger and they were nice tires.....Made by dunlop/goodyear I think. (yes dunlop and goodyear are all the same company now and market tires under a bunch of different brand names.) But it will be a real dog if you use them with 3.55 gears...
