Default Savings Alert- Advance Auto

If like me, you try to hold off on any parts purchase (unless I need it NOW) until you can find a good deal.

Advance Auto has $20 off orders of $50 (ES123) or 40% (LC123) off orders of $100. This is "per" order, not per customer so remember, split them orders up for the biggest savings!

Unless they changed things, I purchased new suspension and brake parts for the car last month and saved $60 during the 30% code. Had I waited... could have been $80...would have paid for the heater Core I need for the Ram, which would have qualified for $30 off orders over $75 (BIG30)....LOL.

Save more money and buy what you need any time you want from Rock Auto
Brake pads, rotors, ball joints, tie rod ends, idler arm, and pitman arm were all cheaper through Rock Auto than had I dropped the idler arm and pitman arm from the lot and bought from O'Reilly or Auto Zone.

interesting comparison -

Advance -
TRW - regular price $148
TRW- $40 off (LC123) $108, plus tax.
Moog - regular price $214
Moog - $40 off $174, plus tax

Autozone -
Duralast $140

Rockauto
Moog $108 + $9 shipping, no tax = $117

that's a nice discount from Advance, but damn their prices are a lot higher.
what to do.. decisions/decisions.
get the TRW from Advance, where it can be warrantied locally?
or get the Moog from Rockauto for the same price, but have no local warranty?

Rock Auto will warranty, although the item does have to be mailed. If time is not a problem, and it's a lot of part, I go Rock Auto. Plus, all orders are followed up with a 5% discount coupon good for 45 days.

advance does tend to be cheaper if youre smart about it. go there with proof or a print out of the part you want from rock auto and they will price match it and usually beat it by a buck! i did that today with an ntk o2 sensor. 27.79 on rock auto and 76.99 at advance. getting it for 26.79!
