Any supercharger users out there?
I'm toying around with the idea of doing a supercharger with the Ram I'm building. Aside from procharger are there any other companies out there that offer some kind of setup for these trucks? If there are any procharger users out there I'd like to get into contact with you. I'd like to know very specific details of your install.
The one on my indy is a Vortech SQ-1 supercharger...
Aside from the Vortech and Procharger, I don't know of any other brands that make a S/C for Rams...
If you have your mind set on a Procharger, you probably need to get in contact with RM_Indy, he can give more info on it.

Procharger only new game left for centrifugals.
If you get a used Paxton/Vortech Id get it rebuilt.
Powerdyne just plain avoid altogether regardless of price
Cheap plastic air hats (older models), prone to snapping internal drive belt.
Cheap bearings prone to early failure in some cases have cause the impellar to explode sending it into the mtr.
KenneBell, no support whatsoever, their Optimzier fuel management is pure crap & to be avoided.
Prochargers tend to have more issues with belt slippage than the Paxton/Vortechs
Their kits include Aeromotive DFMU, its a variable rate/tuneable fuel management & a Pro Flow inline pump.
Personally, I wasnt fond of hitting 100psi fuel pressure by 7psi.
While its better than the Paxton/Vortech fixed rate fmu its still old school.
Better off with bigger injectors & an SCT tuner.
Depending on mtr build, 360-365ci, Walboro 255lph intank pump a good choice.
If going forged 408 then you want something alot bigger.
I have FAST stand alone, FAST 65lb inj, Aeromotive Eliminator fuel pump (12an feed/10an return), good for up to 1200hp blown/1600hp na
Either way, eliminate the wonderfull plenum that Hommer Simpson designed
M1/2BBL or an F1 intake strongly suggested.
From price point probably better off with the M1/2BBL(find used/cheaper)
Im still not convinced that F1 is that great from some Ive heard giving honest opinions on it.
Forget stock hdgskts, Felpro 1008 are better but not really up to the task.
Cometic MLS(multilayer steel)are ok but a real PITA to seal.
Better choice IMHO is the SCE Titans MLC(copper), they aint cheap though(320 IIRC)
D-1SC is good choice for both 360 or 408 (what I have)
The kit also comes with intercooler & pipe work
Id kick in the extra for the 3core & not even bother with a 2core
Procharger designed the kit to put the ic in the most idiotic place possible(Hommer gets around)
Behind the air dam under the bumper with snow plow diverting airflow & debris into it.
For that reason, yanked my ac so the ic will be mounted infront of the rad instead.
This will eliminate few bends & get more airflow through it with less damage from road debris which in your case would be serious issue.
Also by reducing bends you have less boost lost in the system.
Gauges needed, fuel pressure, boost, wideband a/f & trans temp are musts IMHO.
Trans will need some decent upgrades for the 360, 408 major upgrades
Heres mine

LOL, legit question,,,,
Not much came as you see it.
Mopar SFI dampner
FAST 65lb inj
KRC billet fuel rails
Russel & Aeromotive billet fuel fittings
Procharger headunit came polished (extra $250)
SS bolts holding the headunit & LT headers
Other than that, nothing came as is.
I spent probably 100hrs or more sand blasting (glassbead), sanding, polishing, powder coating & painting parts myself right down to every nut, bolt washer not listed above.
Have about 1500 into friction & heat related coatings internally & externally (pistons, M1, headers) Fireball coatings did(same as Jet hot).
My valve covers I had done 12yrs ago, shop powder coated them & I took my belt sander to them.(still look great)
