Seriously, get your priorities straight in life. Oh, and as I always say, "Trucks are for hauling cargo, not for hauling ***."
I agree 100%. There is nothing limiting me to keeping my Dodge. If Chevy, Ford, Toyota, or Nissan make a better truck, I'd buy it. Unfortunlately, I dont have the funds for a new truck. But it would come down to a Sport Hemi half ton Dodge or a F-150 FX4 with the EcoBoost. You wont see me waving one brand's flag. I'll have a couple hanging in the garage there.

Man, I want an EcoBoost...

...But there is hope for you brand loyal fools, the Chrysler Phoenix engine. If any Dodge engineers are listening, Put twin turbos on it, make it direct injected, and make sure its durable, then stick it in a Ram 1500 and give the EcoBoost some competition.

So that means anyone who gets the 2011 f150 can put a turbo on there v8's legally now

I dont know about you guys but all i can say is REALLY

How is anyone supposed to even keep up with legal upgrades (still able to smog it) when from factory the f150 has more power right off the bat. no i dont know 0-60 or anything of that sorts but still power rating says alot.
We need dodge to make another sport truck worth while, not this new R/T ram that has no additional power in the 5.7.
All this says is that Detroit is finally waking up and producing vehicles that get good mileage, and have good power. This technology is nothing new.

Please be more dramatic next time.

Default ????????????

just bought my 2011 dodge sport 4x4, couldn't be happier. mpg with mds on first two tanks avg 17.3 (hand calc) in rural hilly new jersey and limited hwy driving. of course now that i am close to 800 miles i expect mpg to drop as i enjoy the power of the hemi. test drove the eco boost 150, its nice but didn't like the truck overall. the engine maybe good, but i want to see how long those turbos last. i doubt the bearings are heavy duty like a turbo on the cummins, and they are going to be costly to replace. imho ford has not had a really good engine since their straight six. and by the way, the ford dealer wasn't talking on price, with the few mpgs i might have gained, i don't think the price dif between my dodge and the ford would ever pay for itself.

Yeah, and Dodge hasnt had a good engine since their slant sixes either.

Seriously, what would make you think that the turbos wont last?
