How do I know if it's getting spark? Where's the fuel rail? I know I put gas in it so it has fuel, right?
If you put gas in it then yes, you should be getting fuel to the cylinders. A lot of folks don't know that the fuel is actually stored in the roof of the vehicle and gravity fed into the cylinders. This is why rollovers are so dangerous in a truck. Lets move on to spark.
Verify spark by pulling down on the striker wheel of a lighter with your thumb in a rapid manner and hold the gas lever underneath while stomping on the accelerator. If you have good spark, you'll produce a flame and you can then light the pilot in the intake manifold. You may need a helper.

I think the analog converter overheated, causing the frequency modulator to exceed rated capacity, causing the 5V wire NOT to be 5V on the squelch oil level indicator....

IF thats the case you HAVE to get the part from the dealer...everything else is crap.
OK, I'm back again and the truck is still not running. I opened the hood and saw this bit thing with wires all over the place connected to various places. This is the engine, right? The battery is there and there are some wires connected to it but how do I know these wires are connected properly? Is there some kind of DIY or here that someone can find for me that will help? How important is it for the battery to be in there or can I remove it?
Check the FSM, but I think there was a recall on that color truck. Something about its color modulator going bad. You should really use the search button.
