Okay then how do I go about removing the C- Clips? I assume these clips are what hold the axles in the differential so they dont fall out or something.

The rear is easier then the front. Basically put the rear axle on jack stands for safety,
remove the tires,
remove the drums,
pull the differential cover,
drain fluid,
rotate carrier assembly,
and pull the bolt or roll pin out,
then get the cross pin out,
push the axles in and the c-clips will come out with little assistance,
then pull the axles out of your way,
then rotate the spider gears till they fall out then follow the locker install and put everything back together.
