More than it is worth.

If had the "correct tools" do it it all - like an proper machining setup, it wouldn't be a big deal and I would do it. Doing the adjustment slot by drilling a bunch of holes and filing down the burrs took a long time and mostly sucked (but I was determined )

I'll have to dig out my USB drive and see if I can find the fab drawings I had. I converted the dimensioned drawings into a scaled drawing that I used as a template.

You could probably use that file and have a machine shop cut, slot and machine the pieces you need. Then its just a matter of a few welds.

If I ever get a proper machine setup, I'll let you know. I seriously am considering a CNC... just trying to justify the cost. Maybe I can sell brackets.

Thanks,
Cartman

I have to say, EricCartman has a bad-*** setup. I want to know how loud those horns are.
Sometimes I miss things... but I was sure to answer this time.

The horns are loud! 148dB at the source. It hurts with the windows down. It is much more tolerable with the windows up, but the floorboards vibrate pretty good.

The best story to date... I was driving by the high school and some girls were playing tennis. She was about to connect with the overhand serve when I honked. She threw her racquet into the net.

I have since added remote honk ability. As long as there is air in the tank, I can get a few good blasts before out of it.

Im running 2 viar 380c compressors on my bagged mazda. It takes them about 12 minutes to fill my 12 gallon tank to 200psi from empty. That would be plenty for changing a tire IMO.

If you are talking about filling tires, then absolutely you're fine.

If you are talking about air tools, then you'd also be fine on spinning the lugs off. For running 2 viar's like that (i don't know their duty cycle or cfm), I'd think you might be also better off. The 12 gallon tank is certainly a great buffer. Therefore, you are required to provide pictures of that setup, even if it is a Mazda.

@VW -- You just may be getting your charm back.

They were common on AMC's, Jeeps, and a selection of others back in the 70's and 80's. They are also available online, already converted for use as air compressors, but, you pay a premium price for that. I found a few in the yard, back in the day, they are probably getting pretty rare these days......

Volvos have them, but I don't recall the years. Google is your friend.
