You need to paint a flaming skull on the hood. That would be badass.

Good choice on spraying the gray piece black, I'd do the grille and chrome part of the bumper too.

I thought about painting the bumper, and still might. I think worrying about scratching the bumper would make me crazy(er). I am still toying with the idea though, and if I do, the grill will get the same. I may buy another grill and swap out...just in case I don't like it.

That may be the solution! I'll roll this around.

While I was in the garage sanding the shroud for my TCP e-fan kit that arrived today, I decided to spray a second coat of paint on the plastic bumper trim. Almost immediatley, I saw some wrinkes show up. After paint dried, I tried to sand it off on those spots, but paint just rolled up on sand paper. Took a rag (or twelve) and some reducer and wiped it all off. Will attempt to repaint tomorrow. Brings to mind something about a monkey and a football.....

Finally got my e-fan completed and did a little work on body. Sanded out run that had small air bubble in it by pass side door handle last wee, but finally got around to buffing this so I could install new door handle. Want to install interior door panel tomorrow as I am considering taking Ram on trip to Austin Thursday to test out how it runs with e-fan before I install HS Rockers.

Here is the door. I will attempt to buff the lower part of door tomorrow.

Stareted installing new trim on bumper. First shot (if you look closely) you will see the drywall screws that PO had used to hold trim on......

And here is the new top piece of trim installed:

I will attempt to install bumper tomorrow and then installother trim. Doing it by myself I am afrtaid that I will scuff up new trim trying to hold it up and insert bolts into frame!

Hope to put on ramps tomorrow to be able to buff out the lower sections on both sides. Too old to be bent over that long!

I am thinking of painting my lower grey plastic piece on my bumper black as well. I am excited to see what yours will look like!

It looks good, but I hope to get bumper on first. If I scratch it I will be ticked! Where are the grandson's when you need them!

Installed bumper today. Got wife to come out and push 5 gal buckets to hold it up so I could get bolts started.

Had a problem getting it fit up correctly. It appears the bumper is sprung, for which I dod not make any allowance. WIll have to order new bumper. Checked brackets and they are all good. Cannot take the dog leg out even using floor jack. May be possible if I slot holes in bracket more, but not sure if this is a good option. (not very happy at this point.....grrrrr......)

Slot the holes. That looks pretty familiar to me........ seen a lot of dodges that way.
