That was what I thought at first, but I cannot find any holes for the screws. Maybe I got carried away and plugged and sanded the holes?

I think I am going to look in parts manual and see if it is shown there.

EDIT: Went back out and looked...It is for the tailgate. About 4" above the hinge! (now if I can find one of the screws.....)

Thanks!

Went home for lunch...and did a little on Ram. 3rd Brake light came i the mail today.

Old light (still need to buff the roof and back edge of cab. New light is not screwed in yet - had to paint heads of screws!).

A little work forthis afternoon:

AC Compressor clutch went out in December. Replaced with new compressor, but did not connect the piping as the condenser had some damage as well. Only want to recharge one time.

New drier came in the other day and new condenser came in today, so it is time to get this done. CAI is a huge inconvenience!

Yes. They are for the tailgate. All that shiny black paint and I could nnot see the tapped holes! They go abour 6 to 8 inches above the hinge. I was looking too high on the bed frame. (I painted them because they looked too dirty.....wife thinks I'm nuts!)

I am the least patient guy I know! What saves me is this is not my daily driver! That and my daily commute is 10 blocks.
