i am just working on making sure i am able to afford it and everything else i need. got $235 in parts i want to order from rockauto plus the plenum pan is $55 plus shipping and i currently only have $300 that i can spend. don't get paid till Friday so i will have to wait till then to see what my new budget is.

now i did start working on cleaning up the runners on the intake.

I just repaired my plenum, here is a picture of the the old plate with all the "fresh" oil pooling inside, compared to my new hughes aluminum plate. The gasket actually wasnt blown out the sides, but rather the whole plate seemed warped on one side...fail.

Can't say I've seen a plate like that. Did you make that or buy it?

me and my buddies made it. i cut the runners short on the manifold, cut out the pieces of 6061 plate stock, took my belly pan and pieces over to the dirt sprint guys, and they welded the "turtle back" together. FLOWS PRETTY WELL!
